Job Summary

Develop the Product Roadmap for BHFS. Implement new and enhanced product suite for the company. Lead the design and scoping of the product development lifecycle. Manage the Product Governance process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Product Roadmap for BHFS. Implement new and enhanced product suite for the company. Lead the design and scoping of the product development lifecycle. Manage the Product Governance process.

  • Assess product changes, impact, design and scoping of new products and enhanced/amended products from a financial, technical, and regulatory perspective.

  • Ensure compliance of all products and product changes with relevant regulations.

  • Regularly report on product performance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in the development and ongoing running of the product portfolio.

  • Canvass all impacted stakeholders to ensure all changes are well documented with both a clear articulation of the business need, customer impact and the requirement for the development teams.

  • Perform cost / benefit analysis on all proposed significant changes and build a product roadmap of change in conjunction with BHFS development partners.

  • Track and manage the delivery of the feature developments on the roadmap to plan.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related discipline.

  • Experience in working in a Product role in regulated financial entities and specifically in the payments business is essential.

  • Indepth understanding of payments and payments products.

  • Experience in product management best practice methodologies with certification.

  • 8+ years' experience working in either Product Management, Solution Design or Business Analysis in an agile delivery environment.

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, such as Visio, Asana, Jira, SQL Query tools for data modelling.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all internal and external business stakeholders and product teams to evangelize new product features and their implementation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Solid track record of achievement in your career to date.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-centric business.

  • Results oriented. Proven ability to prioritise projects and initiatives and align to corporate and product goals.

  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one.

  • An ability to effectively influence others to modify their opinions, plans, or behavior.

  • Able to deal with ambiguity and work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
